Space and Sensitivity - Chiron squares the Nodes

With the current events unfolding, and the subsequent actions and precautions that must be taken, many are starting to feel the mental and energetic toll that this kind of concern and uncertainty bring. And many mental health conditions which people live with daily are easily amplified or stirred up under these conditions, understandably.

As you check in with yourself more often these days, do all of the things that you already know to do, things that ground and strengthen and reorient you toward your consciousness. Make sure that you’re breathing, not holding your breath or chest breathing; breathe regularly, and just pay attention. Meditate daily. Gratitude lists or acknowledgements are always portals to your inner wisdom. Eat nourishing foods. And don’t eat with any news visible or audible around you. Take medicinal plants and herbs that are immune-supportive, reduce inflammation, and tend to gut health. Pay attention to your self-talk. Spend plenty of time outside, and if you’re lucky enough to have it, get sunshine. Try to stay present, moment to moment.

Chiron, an archetype of wisdom, wounding, and healing, is squaring the lunar nodes at about 4º. Chiron is in fire sign Aries and the North and South nodes are in Cancer/Capricorn. We may be sensing or experiencing wounding/healing in these areas now, an unearthing of deeply rooted pain or issues that want to be dealt with. While the energy of Cancer represents home, family, emotional security and belonging, creating structures of connection and safety, Capricorn represents the “out in the world” energy, the physical/material world, business and work, creating tangible structures and systems. The North Node is in Cancer, signifying that domestic life, “home” and family (given or chosen) are necessary to our evolution collectively, and conversely, the Capricorn South Node indicates a collective past of patriarchial structures, over-attachment to material wealth and toxic capitalism that are hard habits to break. Chiron in Aries deals with primary wounds or trauma, especially related to self-image, self-acceptance, and self-confidence, and issues of agency, oppression, authenticity. It has the potential to teach you to be confident in who you are, to release fear around self-image and about doing what you truly want to do, to amplify your purpose and ambition to create. (Chiron has been in Aries since February 2019 and will be there until April 2027).

As Chiron transits through Aries we are all directed to turn inside and self-reflect, to redefine what identity means, to understand how to retain our individuality while working within the collective, to look into systemic oppression as well as self-suppression, and to heal some of the overly aggressive, destructive, hot-headed expressions that lower vibration Aries can take on. Will we lose ourselves in anger or futility, or can we direct it into wise action? Self-acceptance will be a major theme as well. With Chiron in Aries squaring the nodes in Cancer/Capricorn, we may feel fiery emotions and the fight or flight urges to be defensive or escape, when it might be more helpful to turn toward what feels like home and safety to us, and to channel that fire into initiatory inspiration. At this time many are quarantined, either self-imposed or mandated, and there may be old wounds stirred up around belonging and home, commerce and work in addition to general worry. Like the Cancer Crab, we must retreat into our homeplace even as there is such pressure to be productive out in the world. Create the most grounded, calm, clean space you can where you are right now, and don’t feel guilty if you need more quiet or more time under the weighted blanket than usual. Particularly if you have planets at around 4º of Cancer, Capricorn, Aries, or Libra, you may need to pay extra attention.

The nodes will change signs soon, in less than two months, and we’ll have a new nodal axis to inform our perspective and give us new information to think about and work with. And Saturn, ruler of time, discipline, and structures, is at 29º Capricorn now, strong and in its own sign. The shift of Saturn into Aquarius requires its own post. The social distancing and isolation of recent days, while we try to advocate for all those suffering the most under these conditions, is a clear indication of Saturn’s impending arrival in Aquarius. But the point is that if you’re feeling helpless, hopeless, squeezed, flattened, unsure, or unraveled, it’s entirely understandable under given circumstances- things are intense. AND we can reevaluate and reprioritize what’s most important, make sacred certain moments of the day with our awareness, lean in to the rough edge to polish us a bit more, and practice meaningful self-care- on the most practical to the most spiritual levels. What’s required is space and sensitivity.

We all have a Chiron return around the ages of 49-51, as it takes Chiron about 49 years to travel around the zodiacal wheel. This is a time to re-examine and finally heal the core wounds that show up for us. It can be deep healing work, a perfect time for specific therapies and for self-healing. And if you’ve already done most of that work, healed major traumas, this is a time to share your wisdom, to help the healing of others in your own modality and with your unique gifts.

International Women's Day repost ~ A Sermon for Hard Times

The following is a repost taken from a sermon for hard times: “Wild Moon Wisdom astroAlignment ~ Shakti Church sermon edition” (International Women’s Day 2015). It felt apropros.

“The psyches and souls of women also have their own cycles and seasons of doing and solitude, running and staying, being involved and being removed, questing and resting, creating and incubating, being of the world and returning to the soul-place.”
-C.P. Estés

There are times in life when concepts and theories are enacted in the relative realm, moved from phantoms into being, where energies take shape and shadows surface and there is nowhere to hide, no way to avoid or resist.
There are times in life when you find yourself as an archetype, enacting the myth, where the dream is visceral and the pain is great and the madness sets in, when you can't make it pretty or feel better or "stay positive." The muffled tormented screams that you hear in your ears are not only all your own- yes many of them are, carried inside you for years- but some are the collective anguish from the atrocities branded into our DNA from burning times and before, to the present inexcusable treatment of beings on earth… They are from your own terror, your heavy grief and loss, the resentments that have calcified, the expectations you could not conform to, the brokenness that never healed, carried in your heart and hips and belly, suppressed and ignored until they are uncaged and spill out like hungry ghosts.
There are times when you are Inanna, queen of heaven and earth, but must descend and know the Underworld intimately- you must give up your queenhood and your crown, remove your glory, bow yourself low, be condemned, have the eye of death fixed upon you, you must be turned to a corpse and hung on a hook. There are parts of you that you have disconnected from that must be reclaimed, called back into yourself, and you must face your demons and find vulnerability and understand what real surrender means. This is a ferocious initiation and births the reclamation of your true power.
And there may be a time when you are Ereshkigal, the Dark Sister, whose fate it is to rule the Underworld, not necessarily her choice of domains. She is unloved and holds the wounded neglected parts of Inanna, instinctual, frightened, isolated and alone, and through her rites can release some of her anguish and anger by the empathy offered to her. She has carried the burden of holding the collection of all the secrets and shadows of us all. Still there are ever-present sparks that burn quietly like embers in even the most seemingly unholy places.
There are times in life when the work is ugly and you may feel defeated and devoured by exhaustion in the process, you may feel like a lonely "lunatic" (moonstruck) with no respite, barely human. Don't be afraid. You may have to fight or let go, get still or fling yourself wildly, go silent or scream hauntingly… descend, submerge, sink down, in order to live. Sometimes disorderly chaos is an intuitive and perhaps unconscious realignment with an ancient wisdom. Let the feral creature embedded in your bones growl low and thunderously, a Rudra howl of terrifying sublimity. There is always more to the story…

Venus ➝ Aries ❤︎ + ♨️

On February 7, Friday (the day that belongs to Venus), the planet of intimacy, values, and beauty leaves the highly sensitive and intuitive waters of Pisces and lands in brazen Aries. A cardinal fire sign, Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, initiatory and bursting onto the scene to create something new. Where Venus in Pisces is more about merging, empathy, and deep feeling in love and relationships, in Aries Venus has a more independent and pioneering spirit. Idealistic Pisces intuitively connects with others easily wheareas impulsive Aries is more self-focused in general, but can certainly connect when desire demands it. Of course (in traditional astrology) Venus is thought to be “exalted” in Pisces and considered to be in “detriment” in Aries (and Scorpio); you can think of it as being super comfortable and at home in Pisces and not so comfortable in Aries. But please understand that if you have your natal Venus in Aries, you are not somehow doomed in love, for example. In fact, there are no inherently bad or awful placements or aspects that are untennable or unredeemable or that you should fear. (*This should be a Ted Talk).

For these next few weeks, allow your boldness to be expressed in the arenas of connection, affection, love, the arts, aesthetics. Explore and be adventurous. Healthy Aries takes on the archetype of the courageous warrior, fighting the noble fight, fiercly loyal. This isn’t a glorification of war or violence, which is a possible tone that unhealthy Aries/Mars energy can take, but rather a more spiritual courage and leadership. Shadow Venus in Aries could show up as jealousy or possessiveness, or arguments and combativeness, so be mindful of that. Conversely, healthy Venus in Aries can manifest as an increased strong will, magnetic life force, passionate sex, vitality or libido, and bravery in reaching out for love and connection.

You may consider taking a risk for something you believe in or in some form of artistic expression, or taking a stand for love, being direct and clear about what you want, expressing yourself, your needs and desires confidently. Be bold in your loving while remaining courageous in your independence.

Venus will be in Aries until March 4.

First Eclipse of 2020

There has been an undeniable pressure building since this year began, with visible evidence playing out in major ways seen in world events right now. It’s easy to be overwhelmed and even trepidatious about what is being stirred up and how it will play out, and while I don’t practice or support fear-based astrology (or its opposite of exaggerated positivity), there is a need to pay close attention and increase self-awareness and mindfulness.

On Friday, January 10 we have our first of six eclipses this year, a penumbral lunar eclipse at 20º Cancer visible from almost everywhere except for the Americas. This lunar eclipse is the bookend to the annular solar eclipse at 4º Capricorn that happened on December 25 to open our current eclipse portal. With Friday’s full moon eclipse, this particular eclipse portal closes. These eclipses on the Cancer/Capricorn axis (part of a Saros cycle, a series of eclipses repeating) may have similar themes to major themes of eighteen years ago.
Typically I do not recommend workings of any sort on an eclipse because the energy is electric but too volatile and can be like trying to drink from a fire hydrant of chaos. So not even charging your crystals, altar items, or water on this full moon. There’s a super-charged, unpredictable vibration that is palpable around an eclipse, especially if you’re sensitive. They carry gravitas. They usually usher in changes, beginnings, endings, something initiated and something dissolved, a cycle has reached completion. Everyone’s experience of the eclipse will vary, and while it may be mild for some, it can bring intensity for others, major breakdowns and breakthroughs. Some people may feel lost or uneasy, some may feel an amped up general aggravation. On eclipse day it is usually better to do grounding practices, to smoothe and soothe your nerves and mind, to be in a quiet, private mental space and care for yourself gently.
Look for twenty degrees of Cancer/Capricorn to see where the eclipse lights up your chart. Reparenting and healing generational trauma have seemed to be getting more attention and practice lately and may be appropriate practices to engage with or look into in the months after this eclipse. This Cancer/Capricorn polarity invites us to consider where we feel safest, most secure and at home, as well as our how we empower ourselves out in the world. The Moon now stands opposite the Sun, Mercury, Saturn, and Pluto, all in exacting Capricorn which sounds overwhelming, but being in her home placement of Cancer, and with her North Node also in Cancer, this Full Moon contains a powerful force in her own right. Cardinal signs may be feeling extra sensitive. Many people may feel disturbed or restlessness. Radical Uranus turns direct at 2º of Taurus on the same evening of the eclipse, which could add to the provocation of our psyches and feelings of agitation.
Keep in mind that we have the Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto, Ceres and the South Node currently in Capricorn, and the intensification is building as the Saturn/Pluto conjunction approaches (exact this weekend on January 12). These two power planets meet meet up every thirty three to thirty eight years. And this will be the first time in many years that Pluto and Saturn have been conjunct in the sign of Capricorn. Sunday’s Saturn/Pluto alignment happens at 22º Capricorn and is also connects with Mercury. Saturn rules responsibility, tests, endurance, disciplined work, and Pluto’s realm is the Underworld/shadow realm and deals with elimination, transformation, and power.

Care for your nervous system and be easy and gentle on yourself and others if you’re around them. Take some time for a cleansing bath, do a long, supported restorative savasana, even take a nap when needed and if possible today and this weekend. Get some deep rest. Meditate and practice mindfulness moment to moment.
In the coming weeks and months, continue these practices. Go to therapy if you can, or sign up for a one of the behavioral health services apps that bring therapy to you through a phone call or text, or if necessary reach out to one of the free mental health hotlines if you need to talk to someone.

Email wildmoonwisdom@gmail.com for information on charts, Kosmic Koaching, or a tarot reading after the eclipse if necessary.

End of December and the Decade Astrology

December 31, 2019
Sun/SN conjunction in Capricorn

We are in the middle of an eclipse portal, and a new year awaits us just around the corner…

♑☉☋☽

On Christmas Day we had a South Node Solar ECLIPSE at 4º CAPRICORN conjunct Jupiter/ New Moon, setting a magical space for dynamic potential to be considered and strategic energetic seeds planted. The second eclipse will take place on Friday, January 10: a Full Moon lunar eclipse at 11:11am PST in Cancer (full moon exact at 11:21am PST).

On December 28, the Aquarius Moon formed a square to Uranus, and mental Mercury joined the gang in Capricorn (Sun, Jupiter, Saturn, South Node, Ceres…). The abundance of Capricorn energy may feel empowering and supportive at this time, but more than likely it could be bringing up some resistance, heaviness, and pressure.
Mercury formed a square with Chiron in Aries on December 29, bringing us messages related to our woundedness, trauma, and healing.
On December 30 the Sun crossed the South Node in Capricorn.

These are powerful and serious eclipses happening on the CANCER/CAPRICORN axis. Foundational and primary, the forces of Cancer/Capricorn hold keys to our evolution. Here we explore the implications of our private versus public lives, how we move through both, how within the confines of solid boundaries true intimacy takes root and grows. When we feel safe, we feel free. The energies stirred by the eclipses are related to major themes and circumstances of eight to nine years ago (2010-2011) and nineteen years ago. And the full power energies and revelations that are initiated by the eclipses don’t always show up at the exact moment of the eclipse but rather start to unfold and unravel and be revealed. The next six months should unveil more.

▻ If you’re familiar with your natal chart, find Capricorn to see the theme or area of life this eclipse highlights for you.

Capricorn is represented by the majestic Sea-Goat; it embodies the vibration of perseverance, integrity, achievement, ascent. Where Capricorn is in your chart is the place from which you move into growth and maturity- it encourages continuity of action, working through challenges, taking responsibility. Capricorn teaches us to cultivate inner authority, which we take into the world.

► You can read for your Sun sign and your Rising - this is Capricorn moving through the signs and what you might like to focus on or give attention to for Capricorn season:

◦Aries- goals, life path
◦Taurus- adventure, faith
◦Gemini- transformative experience, merging
◦Cancer- relationships, connection
◦Leo- health, responsibility
◦Virgo- expression, pleasure
◦Libra- domesticity, home
◦Scorpio- tolerance, perception
◦Sagittarius- self-esteem, money matters
◦Capricorn- identity, selfhood
◦Aquarius- rest, spiritual practice
◦Pisces- dreams, vision

♦︎ JUPITER ♃ ⟶ CAPRICORN ♦︎

On December 2 at 10:20am California time, the gentle giant planet Jupiter left home-sign Sagittarius and entered earthy Capricorn for the next year. The orbit of Jupiter around the Sun takes just about twelve years, which is how long it has been since this planet has occupied Capricorn. Jupiter is considered to be beneficent in traditional astrology and is typically thought to bring good fortune and expansion. And although most of what you’ll see about this grand planet is about being irrepressibly fortunate, it is wise to understand the shadow side of its expansiveness as well and to be aware of the myriad of manifestations possible. Whichever realm of your chart Jupiter moves through will receive the planet's spotlight and amplification for the year- look for Capricorn.

The precious gifts bestowed by Jupiter include optimism, abundance, wisdom, good fortune, broadmindedness, and most importantly, faith. There is a fundamental deep trust and confidence, an inner assurance encouraged. The transition of leaving the sign of Sagittarius and entering the portal of Capricorn is notable. Jupiter rules Sagittarius and not only feels at home there but also functions at full power and wisdom. For many, transiting Jupiter through freedom-loving, high-minded Sagittarius was undeniably the highpoint of the year, a positive balm to soothe some of the heavy astrological weather. The scenery changes now with Jupiter in Capricorn, which is considered to be in its “fall” and least comfortable. Saturn has been in Capricorn since 2017 and Pluto since 2008 (and the South Node since 2018) so with Jupiter joining, the Capricorn emphasis intensifies as we prepare to enter a new decade and face 2020’s astrological significance. Saturn rules this Jupiter in Capricorn terrain and evokes discipline and effort, concentration and maturity, which feeds and fuels our long-term goals. Jupiter encourages us to dream big, and Saturn directs the work we must do in order to manifest that dream in the physical realm. Jupiter in Capricorn signals that it’s time to get serious about growth.

We now stand silently at this threshold, reflecting and preparing, and as we begin the holy traverse through a new decade, may we keep our humility and humanity intact.

VENUS ♀ ➝ CAPRICORN ♑︎

On November 25, Venus entered earth sign Capricorn, joining Pluto, Saturn, the South Node, and Ceres, and remaining until December 19/20. That’s the Goddess of Love together with the Lord of the Underworld, the Disciplinarian, the Karma and Ancestral Information-holder, and the Goddess of Renewal.

During her stay in fun-loving and philosophical Sagittarius, we may have experienced more freedom-seeking and adventure in our relationships or with regard to our finances. Venus in pragmatic Capricorn now shifts her focus to building sustainable and meaningful connections. She sets her sights on long-term commitment and stability in relationships, and she weilds her boss power in all money matters and executive decisions. From satyr to sea-goat, our love nature now enters Capricorn’s somber domain and attunes us with a sensibility of dedication and maturity. We’ll work hard to reach our goals and get serious about what we want. We may mix business with pleasure during this transit, establish new boundaries, or build important bridges and foundations that will impact the future. It may not be the best time to take big risks but is ideal for things like couples therapy, coaching, working with a financial advisor or accountant to organize finances, or making financial plans for the future. Rather than an overly romanticized and emotional feeling, Capricorn Venus brings loyalty and work ethic to the love-table; problem-solving and trouble-shooting any relationship issues are best taken on now. There’s an innate maturity and wisdom within Capricorn, along with equal measures of stubbornness and stability.

Dedication and determination are valuable qualities available to us with this transit that we can use to grow an income and deepen a commitment, but most importantly, investment in ourselves and our self-worth is what Venus in Capricorn encourages.

S A T U R N Stations Direct

Wednesday 9/18/19: SATURN turns DIRECT (13º 55’ Capricorn) at 1:47am PDT.

The planetary Teacher of Reality has been retrograde since April 29 (rx at 20º 31’ Capricorn) and this retrograde cycle has felt particularly perilous because of the South Node conjunction, plus Saturn is extra Saturn-y while in its home sign of Capricorn. Saturn’s retrograde dealt with themes of self-sovereignty, responsibility, and general integrity. With Saturn and the South Node linked together closely, we have been called into deeper deliberations about karmic contracts, unhealed generational trauma, unhealthy patterns that haunt and hinder us, and where we are stuck. It has been important to see where we lack the boundaries necessary for a strong foundation (in our sense of self as well as structurally in life) and where we lack maturity. We may have been confronted by the ways in which our conditioning and reactions inhibit our progress and maybe how our lack of boundaries or overuse of armor first began. During the retrograde we were invited to investigate and re-define our boundaries, commitments, and responsibilities. With Saturn direct we will hopefully integrate the insight and clarity we discovered about these issues and can now iimplement the lessons and allow for growth. It is possible to appreciate the oftentimes uncomfortable, hard-earned lessons Saturn brings us when we realize that nothing would ever get done without this planet’s influence. Saturn’s energy fortifies and solidifies, it grounds and empowers. It coallesces the will and inner reserves of faith within even the most reluctant recepient. Saturn’s shadow period will last about another three months, until December 26. And this all leads up to the much anticipated Saturn/Pluto conjunction at 22º 46’ Capricorn on January 12, 2020, a major event.

For now, pay attention to the areas that have felt blocked for the past five months of Saturn’s retrograde period, the projects or works that have been stalled, and any changes that arise. You may feel things start to shift soon. Saturn places the obstacles in the way but also supplies the means to overcome them and make things happen. Apply what you’ve learned. This Saturn freqency will be expressed politically and socially as well as intimately in your personal life. Some have had a rougher and more intense time with this retrograde than others, so if you’re feeling bruised and humbled, or disassembled and back to an inner origin point, remember that within the confines of Saturn’s stern stare and uncompromising discipline, immense freedom is granted.
Equinox arrives soon.

Cancer/Capricorn Eclipses July 2019 : Reparenting & Repatterning

♋︎/♑︎ ☊☋

: Reparenting & Repatterning :

July 1    Mars → Leo

July 2    Total Solar Eclipse 10º Cancer (9:55am pdt)

New Moon in Cancer (12:16pm pdt)

July 3    Venus → Cancer

July 7    Mercury Rx 8º Leo (until July 31, D at 23º Cancer)

July 8    Chiron Rx Aries

July 16  Partial Lunar Eclipse 24º Capricorn (11:55am pdt)

              Full Moon in Capricorn (2:38pm)

July 19  Mercury → Cancer

———————————————————————————————

We’re about to enter July’s astrology, and it’s important to pay attention because this will be a month of tender feelings and potential major reconfigurations. The eclipses are coming, with Mercury turning retrograde in between them. The first eclipse of the month occurs on July 2 with a Total Solar Eclipse at 9:55am (California time) at 10º Cancer. This water sign is the traditional archetype of the Great Mother and nurturer, representing the act of mothering, the home, children, roots, familial bonds, emotional security, and protecting what matters most. The sensitive Crab’s primary experience is feeling - it feels everything. So this eclipse will highlight home and family in some way and will likely stir up some big feelings around these ideas. Cardinal signs will be one of the groups affected strongly (Capricorn, Cancer, Libra, and Aries), but everyone will experience the effects of the eclipse. Where you’ll feel it depends on your individual chart. You can look at 10º Cancer in your natal chart to get an idea of where the eclipse will initiate shifts in your life or sign up for an Eclipse Report (details below).

A Solar Eclipse means it will also be a New Moon (in Cancer, 12:16pm). We have eclipses every six months, when the new or full moon aligns with the ecliptic and the nodes. The North Node activation opens a kind of portal, and events that occur often feel fated and life rearranged. Although it will be much easier to fall into comfortable patterns of behavior when the shifts hit, it will serve us to instead forge a new way or make a different, less predictable choice. And remember that eclipses are cyclical, so you can also reflect back to 2000-2001 to revisit major themes or changes occurring then to get a hint about what this eclipse cycle will bring for you. With the Cancer Sun eclipsed by the Cancer Moon, our lunar unconscious becomes primary and our emotions will be heightened, but our physical energy may be quite low. Cancer rules the belly, breasts, and the womb, governs nutrition and digestion; we could have more stomach aches or ailments during this eclipse. Pregnancy may be a result of this eclipse cycle for some. We are encouraged to adopt the Crab’s preferred expression, the language of emotions, when navigating their space. Their arena is all about emotional bonds, home and where we feel most at home and secure, and family and nurturing. These are general vibes that this eclipse will bring up for us. Like all signs, Cancer has its balanced and luminous expression and its shadowy side… which we should all be aware of. We must watch for spreading ourselves thin, giving to the point of exhaustion and mothering others at the expense of our own well being and sanity.

The gift that the sign of Cancer brings to these cosmic proceedings is one of potential emotional healing. We have an opportunity to heal old wounds and repattern our thinking and behavior to reflect our growth, our authority. We can default into karmic patterns, staying stuck, or lean into the uncomfortable and make a new path.

The cosmic power grid gets a zap, a power surge.

Reparenting and repatterning is a major theme for this eclipse cycle along the Cancer/Capricorn axis and that’s the work we’re being called to explore. With the Cancer/Capricorn axis being activated, there will be an emphasis on home/career, private/public, inner work/work in the world, mother/father dynamics. We can observe and work with our unloved or unparented parts, doing inner child work (integrated Cancer), taking responsibility for ourselves in conscious adulthood and embodying our sovereignty as powerfully as we can (integrated Capricorn). This Cancer/Capricorn dynamic can also be explored and understood as the Unmothered Mother/the Patriarchy (“shadow side”)… and the Divine Feminine/Sacred Masculine (in the more conscious expression). The celestial events are felt personally but we can see a clear exhibition of it socially/globally as well, with female reproductive health and body sovereignty being debated and decided (by the Patriarchy and its minions), and in the separation of families and horrors of immigrant children dying at the border in the country that should be the beacon of leadership.

Eclipses are electric, bringing swift changes, elimination and closure, new beginnings, sometimes upheaval, revelations, and always transformation. They can bring epic evolution as well as life events with energy that feels destined. Sometimes events are set in motion during the eclipse and it can take six months to see what exactly was rearranged or reconfigured. Take time to tune in deeply to your intuition and clarify what matters most to you, what your emotional needs are and how to self-soothe, and be open to a new way.

The second eclipse will be on July 16 at 24º Capricorn, along with a Full Moon. And 2020 is six months away.

Email wildmoonwisdom@gmail.com to sign up for an Eclipse Report for a deeper look at where the eclipses land for you and support in how to work with them, including what to look out for and personal suggestions ($44 full report, $13 for summary for July 2 eclipse only). L I T H A ☼ Summer Solstice

We’ve arrived at midsummer eve, an evening of flickering candles and divination, mugwort and deep dreams. June 21 is Summer Solstice (in the Northern hemisphere) or Litha - the pinnacle of the Light, the triumphant day of the Sun, the longest day and shortest night of the year. Astrologically Solstice is initiated when the sun moves into 0 degrees Cancer, which is exact at 8:54am. That same morning, dreamy Neptune in Pisces stations retrograde until November 27, and the July eclipses are coming soon. Solstice is a day of radiance and boundless light, a time to celebrate abundance and offer gratitude. The great and shining Sun reaches its perfection and fullness, and in a moment’s time we head into the dark half of the year. It will still be summer for quite some time, but we know that the light begins to wane and the darkness starts to build. This is the wheel of the year, turning once again… Our lives, when aligned with nature’s way, pulse in this same way.

We are in familiar territory; life is constantly shifting and changing, bringing beauty and challenges, and there’s always more. That is the promise of life: the promise that there will always be more, more of everything. It’s happening in our lives as well, the unfolding and releasing, invoking and establishing. There is a constant pulsing of life flowing, waxing and waning, expanding and contracting. The Great Creatrix blinking us into into being, disappearing us, and bringing us back again. Birth, death, rebirth. We have an intimate understanding of this experience living life as householders on a path, navigating the exquisite and terrifying, holding the midline of ourselves and our true spiritual practice.

Many are going through big changes at this time, some unexpected, and the enormity of the destabilization and confusion can be overwhelming. This is a time of immense amplification and acceleration. Some of you may feel like you’ve been startled and exposed, your shell cracked open, your paradigm shifting. Remember to tune into your intuition and trust. The creative intelligence of the Universe is reorganizing you and your life; this can feel uncomfortable, even unbearable, but through our dedication to our spiritual practices we are becoming more skilled at allowing every circumstance of life to take us into the primal power of our hearts. It takes time and in the midst of it it isn’t pretty, it doesn’t feel good, and sometimes there is nothing to do but let the feelings and energies wash over you.

FEEL EVERYTHING.

Try to stay rooted in your belly and bones, with your heart open in radical vulnerability, and hold on. Love yourself fiercely and allow your compassion to turn inward as a new practice. Make art with your tears and frustrations when necessary, dig your fingers and toes into the black earth to ground, and remember that you belong. More will unfold- there’s always more to the story.

On this Solstice, make a date with the Sun… bask in the warmth and relish the sunshine in the morning or mid-day or late afternoon. At sunset say goodbye to the Sun disappearing into the sea, to be reborn in the sky on Winter Solstice. The fullness of the light breaks into the beginning of the dark in its ancient way. You don’t have to craft an elaborate ritual to mark the occasion, and in fact heartfelt, contemplative presence is all that is necessary to honor this seasonal shift meaningfully. Late in the evening, light a candle and renew your commitments and offer your blessings. Bow to the golden radiance that burns brightly inside your own heart and vow to stay true to yourself.

♡,
KK

Uranus —> Taurus : A Seven Year Reign

On March 6, the planet Uranus finally left Aries for this lifetime and entered Taurus to stay for the next seven years. The last cycle of Uranus in Taurus was from 1934-1942. Uranus was in Taurus briefly last year to test things out but then retrograded back into Aries until now. The Aries cycle ends and as the new Taurus Uranus cycle gets underway, we may notice some significant shifts unfolding around us. Uranus always brings changes. As the maverick planet moves to a new sign, it also occupies another area in your chart and will bring a whole new set of circumstances to engage with (work to do). This is the planet of rebellion, liberation, disturbance, the erratic and eccentric.

When we reach 40-42 years old we experience a Uranus opposition (where the planet makes an opposition to our natal Uranus), marking and ending and beginning … which is part of a more complex journey that lands sometime between age 37 and 45, with not only Uranus but also Pluto, Neptune, and Saturn involved. This mid-life point is labeled the "mid-life crisis" because of the dramatic disruption and existential despair that can be felt at this time. And it is also the most significant and intense milestone in life that ultimately frees us and can lead to the discovery our most authentic self.

Uranus, the oddly tilting planet, is four times the size of Earth and it takes eighty four years to complete a journey around the Sun. It is a modern planet discovered by Sir William Herschel in 1781. It’s the planet of the future, and also of electricity, revolution, upheavals, science. There’s a deep-seated and powerful force, a hidden purpose associated with Uranus. And the planet associated with electricity, lightning, and seismic activity has moved into fixed earthy Taurus; there will certainly be important implications for our planet in these Taurus Uranus years. The earth-focused realm of Taurus is stable, fertile, and also includes resources, wealth, the body, the physical, beauty, art, what we value. Ruling over the unorthodox, Uranus helps to liberate us, shake things up, stir up a rebellion. Uranus brings innovation and revelation, and will share its powers of awakening in all of the Taurus areas. This next seven year cycle will bring a new vibe or focus, new work to do, and new context for life to be enacted.

On March 5 the communication muse Mercury stationed retrograde in Pisces until the 28th. Mercury is air, quick and clear, and not the most comfortable in watery, occluded Neptune-ruled Pisces... While retrograde, the planet of intelligence will spend almost the entire month conjunct Neptune in Pisces, creating a dreamy and ethereal but also possibly overly indulgent (or self-medicating-y) landscape for us. Mercury retrograde cycles are perfect opportunities to slow the pace, remember, review, realign. Take a social media fast or reduction if possible, at least during Mercury's retrograde time - it also serves to limit the opportunities for misunderstandings, misreads, and mis-transmissions etc. The retrograde of the intelligence planet just as the new Taurus Uranus cycle starts could give us some down time to witness the new energies beginning to burgeon.

Uranus in Taurus will activate a different part of your chart now:

Aries rising - 2nd house Money, possessions, income, career, stability, finances, worth.

Taurus rising - 1st house Self, selfhood, appearance, self-interest, desires, style, temperament.

Gemini rising - 12th house Secrets, karma, closure, sorrows, rest, compassion, self-undoing.

Cancer rising - 11th house Friends, alliances, hopes and dreams, associations/groups, goals/objectives, cooperation , technology.

Leo rising - 10th house Career, success/achievement, material success, life path, parents, ambition, expressing your talents.

Virgo rising - 9th house Mental pursuits, higher education, travel, religion and philosophy, study, faith, discovery.

Libra rising - 8th house Death and rebirth, sex, surgery, shared resources, inherited wealth, taxes and debt, intimacy.

Scorpio rising - 7th house Serious partnerships, contractual agreements, marriage/life mates, adversaries, harmony, negotiations, shared goals.

Sag rising - 6th house Service, health and fitness, well being, pets, organization/clarity, co-workers, purification.

Capricorn rising - 5th house Sex, romance, art, passion, fame, fertility, children.

Aquarius rising - 4th house Home, parents, ancestors/roots/heritage, land, foundations, domestic affairs, what you keep hidden away/your emotional safe space.

Pisces rising - 3rd house Communication, technology, self-expression, family ties, daily travel, early education or study habits, community.

Full Moon Leo Lunar Eclipse + Sun —> Aquarius

We’ve reached the conclusion of Capricorn season. And just in time. What boundaries, lessons, structures were initiated during the sea goat’s reign, and what hard work did you put in that paid off?
The Sun enters Aquarius on Sunday with quite an accompanying bang.

This year will invite us into a deeper relationship with discipline and freedom. We will build on the Capricorn lessons learned and continue to feel Saturn’s influence strongly throughout the year. We began the year with a solar eclipse, 15º Capricorn (on January 5), and this weekend delivers the counterpart to that, with a lunar eclipse in Leo (0º) opposite the Aquarius Sun. Sunday’s full moon brings us to the final eclipse in this Leo/Aquarius cluster, with the last eclipse along the Leo/Aquarius axis having happened last August 11 at 18º Leo. Reflect on the past two years of growth and evolution, lessons and hardships.
Eclipses light up a sign and its polar opposite sign in groupings, which happen over about a two year period, and reoccur approximately every nine years. This axis was highlighted in 2008-2009, and thinking back to major changes or life event from that time can hint at possible general themes for the current Leo/Aquarius eclipse set. The house that the eclipse falls into reveals more insights into the areas you can expect a shift in. If your lunar nodes are Leo/Aquarius, or if you’re a fixed sun sign (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius), this collection of eclipses has likely cleared and cultivated some karmic changes in life. This lunar eclipse is visible in its entirety to North and South America, Europe, and Africa.

An eclipse acts as activator, setting things in motion, but the energies and transformation will unfold over the next six months to year after the actual eclipse. It may not be clear at the time the eclipse hits what exactly will clear or manifest.

We have several eclipses each year, at new or full moons that occur near the nodal axis. The nodes are destiny points, and eclipses tend to initiate or dissolve things, bringing about big change, a new frequency, an ending and beginning. We can usually feel heightened emotions and intensified energy in the time between two eclipses, and many people feel more irritable or sensitive. The best thing to do is stay tethered to your soul’s knowing. And also to pay attention. There are other planets participating in this cosmic eclipse intensification, with the Moon, Mars and Saturn squaring off, plus Uranus, and additionally Venus and Jupiter. Mars and Saturn could fortify your drive to take decisive action on something you’ve been avoiding dealing with. A consideration with Venus and Jupiter’s conjunction is that you may feel more blessed in general, or more optimistic in romance. Revelations and resolutions often accompany an eclipse. If you can wrap yourself in empathy and compassion, steep in self-love, your heart will follow its path, and new levels of opening may begin.
Under the influence of an eclipse cycle, plenty of potential for up-leveling is available.

In your chart, look for 0º Leo and Aquarius, as well as any planets aligned there (like the sun, Venus, Moon…), to determine the potential area of life where change may occur. This will be a more powerful than usual full Moon at 0º Leo, the reset number, the degree of the fertile void. Feel empowered by this cosmic momentum to assist you in clearing what’s no longer useful and in alignment and to invoke your most treasured dream. Leo Full Moon themes generally deal with heart, pleasure, creativity, romance, drama, generosity, self-confidence. Leo reminds the importance of play, self-worth, and genuine joy.

This eclipse may be experienced as a catalyst for evolution, a change agent to shake you out of complacency, the tower card in tarot, an initiation, or an inner revolution.

If you are able, take a social media fast. Unplug. Spend some quality quiet time in contemplation, if not for the day then at least for a period of time. It’s a good time to reset. Listen closely. Hold your awareness on your deep dreams, and what you’re calling in.

Lean into the mystery.

The possibilities are endless….

Happy Aquarius season.

Nodal Axis Shift

On November 6, 2018, as Uranus retrograded back into Aries, another shift in the heavens occurred: the lunar nodes shifted from Leo/Aquarius to Cancer/Capricorn.

The lunar nodes shift every eighteen months, bringing an entirely new mood and energy to influence our feelings and the patterns that play out in our lives. And earthlings born during a particular nodal axis will have soul similarities, meaning that similar gifts to offer and lessons to learn will show up for each of the beings born with that north and south node. During the nodes’ Leo/Aquarius stay we encountered dynamic themes related to Leo and Aquarius attributes, and with this new placement underway, we will have fresh perspectives to gain based on the Cancer/Capricorn aesthetic.

The nodes are not planets but rather intersection points where the orbit of the moon intersects the ecliptic, and their movement is counterclockwise. The north node, known as the dragon’s head, is essentially our dharma in this lifetime, and the south node, called the dragon’s tail, is karma. Opposites, these destiny points reveal our life purpose and our life lessons. In a past life (or lives) we relied on a particular set of characteristics, like a tool kit, and in our current lifetime these once useful skills which propelled us further are now slowing us down or holding us back. This is the south node. It deals with issues we have to work out and what remains unresolved. And the north node is about how we find resolution, our gifts to develop, potentials to unfold, attributes to grow. There’s much more nuance to it all, and add to it the houses and the aspects associated with the nodes… but for now consider them to represent access points that can reveal a treasure of wisdom.

Some things to notice while we have the north node in Cancer and south node Capricorn:

  • Balance between yin and yang energies / families, parents, parenthood, children / personal vs professional or public

  • Releasing: obsessive materialism, the need to win at any cost, being a workaholic, fear of intimacy, making everything difficult, worth defined by accomplishments and recognition, excess yang, needing to control everything

  • Embracing: nurturing others, empathy and sensitivity, emotional inhibition and vulnerability, verbalizing feelings, domestic life, family

November Overview (Nodal Axis Shift Alert)

As we climb out of October, saying goodbye as we do at Samhain, we feel the tremendous Scorpionic impulses of this numinous space. We’ve come to the Crossroads. It’s often repeated that at this time the veil between the worlds is thin; we can feel this for ourselves when we become still and tune in. This is when we must listen closely to the dark, make offerings and send prayers up with incense smoke, a time for honoring the ancestors. We encounter this threshold each year and are pulled into our very own underworlds. It’s the season of darkness, dreamtime, and divination, and there is a moodiness that settles over November’s astrology that we can’t escape.

On November 6 the nodal axis shifts as the Lunar Nodes change signs. These points are most often associated with representing life path and life lessons, or destiny and past life karma. The North Node leaves the Leo/Aquarius axis for Cancer/Capricorn for the next year and a half, bringing an undercurrent of change that will reverberate cosmically and personally. There is much to unpack and understand about this most significant occurrence of not only November but the year. This shift will certainly impact Election Day in the US and the history unfolding around it. Another post focused on the Nodes will follow soon. For now, here’s an overview of some of the astrology of November:

Merry Mabon ★

We welcome Autumnal Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere, when the Sun reaches 0º Libra. Equinox means "equal night" and this is a time when the Light and Dark are in balance. After this moment of balanced light and dark, the darkness will begin to wax and we move into the dark half of the year, the Dreamtime. It is in the darkness, the womb, where we are nourished and cooked. We release the past and weave our dreams and intentions. The Dark Goddess now reigns. The Mother Goddess becomes the Crone.

We hold within us both the beautiful darkness and the light, the asuras and the devas. When we honor both without suppression or condemnation, a great healing can occur and our Truest Nature begins to stir and climb out of dormancy. When we welcome ourselves, our wholeness, we invite an intimacy with evolution and reclamation of what has been lost.

The Sun leaves orderly and analytical Virgo for balance-seeking Libra at 6:54pm CA time on September 22. Mabon is Pagan Thanksgiving, a mid-harvest celebratory day in the Wheel of the Year. It is a time to give thanks, offer gratitude for our blessings, for the fruits of our labor, for the abundance of the harvest both literally and figuratively. To mark the occasion, you could update your season altar, bake bread and make homemade soup with veggies from the garden, light a fire and make offerings, journal about your gratitude and dreams, and spend time observing the subtle shifts in the air, taking in the energy at this threshold.

Libra is represented by weighing scales and longs to find balance and justice in all areas of life. Libra is also concerned with relationships of all kinds and finding ways to be in alignment with love, relating, connecting, and our own desires. This season is a good time to reflect on where you've gotten off track, out of alignment with your deepest desires. You can readjust and realign in all areas, especially your relationships. Reflect deeply on lessons learned, acknowledging loss and betrayal as well as triumphs and victories. Contemplate the beginnings and endings and re-beginnings of all things in life. Articulate a ritual that will invoke and manifest the dreams hidden inside your heart, seeking balance and equanimity while honoring the radical upheavals inherent in a householder sadhana life. Remember your roots and your center.

Mercury moved into Libra on just a day before the Sun entered, and both make an opposition to Chiron (in Aries), providing a backdrop for hidden or repressed pain to be dealt with and old wounds to heal. And on September 24 we’ll have a Full Moon in Aries heightening these vibes (7:52pm PDT). Chiron will leave Aries and move into Pisces the next evening, September 25.

Invoke and activate harmony in your own being and build it into your life.

Virgo Season

We entered Virgo season on the evening of August 22. The event was was kicked off that weekend with a Grand Earth Trine, with the Virgo Sun trine Uranus and Saturn, and a dreamy Pisces Full Moon. And then on August 27 Mars, which was retrograde for two months, turned direct (28º Capricorn). The shadow period for Mars will run through October 8; I am certain there's much to unpack for everyone from this retrograde, which was one of so, so many. The planet of power and passion moves into logical and fixed Aquarius on September 10.

Mercury's shadow period ended on September 2, which was also the beginning of the pre-shadow for Venus. Just one week later, Venus enters Scorpio (September 9), and on October 5 turns retrograde at 10º Scorpio until November 15. The planet of beauty and love gets intense and more sexual in the sign of Scorpio, making love and romance seem totally all-consuming. Possessiveness, vindictiveness, immersive seduction, complications, and sexual rebirth are all on the rise during this time. September 9 also brings a Virgo New Moon and new lunar cycle, and we move forward into this month worn and wiser after this summers's eclipse portal.

On September 5, Mercury joined the Sun in Virgo, bringing some order to the chaos of our minds and organization to our thoughts. After the communication planet's stay in Leo for an extra long time (due to retrograde), we could use some analysis and practicality to dry out from the melodrama and hypersensitivity. Saturn, retrograde since April, finally turned direct on September 6 (2º Cap).  Saturn's lessons brought up during this retrograde cycle can now begin to be explored and any changes, upgrades, and improvements implemented.

And as always, there's more to come...

Blessed Be.

Cancer / Capricorn … Full Moon & more

Moon-ruled Cancer season began on Summer Solstice, June 21, and during this sun cycle we have more access to our feelings and ability to value those feelings. Cancer rules the breasts and belly, rib cage, body fluids… and like the Crab, temperamental Cancer turns inward, retreating inside its shell and putting up defenses if threatened or to hide sensitivity. This sign is associated with the mother, with nourishment and nurturing, home and security. This Cancer season could bring up thoughts and feelings around family and home, or some nostalgia and sentimentality, as well as sensitivity and the well known tears that are inevitably stirred up in each of us while the sun inhabits this sign.

In Cancer season we all cry freely, we express our heartache and anguish, we tend to our hearts.

Neptune, the planet of mystery, illusion, and self-sacrifice, turned retrograde (in Pisces) on June 18 (until November 24). It is Neptune that brings us fantasy, deep dreams, imagination, as well as delusion, deception, and victimization. During Neptune's station, and throughout the retrograde, you may feel brain fog or confusion. This cycle could lead us to see through the illusions and get deeper insight, but we should guard against numbing out and hiding from the truth or reality.

A week after Neptune, Mars turned retrograde (in Aquarius). This happens about every two years. If you recently felt your brain fog morph into a sense of hitting a brick wall, that's pretty in alignment with the current energy. While retrograde, Mars expresses energy differently and it is typical to feel fatigued, exhausted, drained energetically, a bit aimless and less direct, less passionate and lower sex drive. Those who are Mars-ruled may feel less aggressive or able to express frustration more calmly, with a newly found sense of passivity, while everyone else will seem a little more impulsive, impatient, and quick to anger.

This sets the stage for Wednesday June 27, when Cancer Sun opposes Saturn and the Full Moon in Capricorn. This full moon (9:53pm PDT) will have a serious tone. Saturn symbolizes time, the father, parents, authority, government, patriarchy, ancestors. It presides over hard work, discipline, responsibility, karma, and fate. Saturn will bring up a lesson for your consideration or will call attention in a particular way on this full moon. Cancer and Capricorn are polar opposites on the zodiac and we'll feel this polarity. The expression of Cancer is nurturing, receptive and emotional, while Capricorn is stern, reserved and disciplined.

There may not be a celebratory feel to this Full Moon, but there will be opportunities. Make space for remembrance, let yourself rest deeply, feel good about your hard work and efforts while acknowledging your mistakes, get quiet, call on your ancestors, feel your feelings.

Tend to your heart.

Summer Solstice Shift

"… And those who ancient lines did ley will heed the song that calls them back."

Wednesday, June 20 brings Midsummer Eve, an evening of flickering candles and divination, mugwort and deep dreams. Thursday, June 21 is Summer Solstice (in the Northern hemisphere) or Litha - the pinnacle and fullness of the Light, the triumphant day of the Sun, the longest day and shortest night of the year. Astrologically, Solstice is initiated when the sun moves into 0 degrees Cancer, which is exact at 3:07am PDT on Thursday morning. Solstice is traditionally a day of radiance and boundless light, a time to celebrate abundance and offer gratitude: the great and shining Sun reaches its perfection and fullness, and in a moment’s time we head into the dark half of the year. It will still be summer for quite some time, but the light wanes and the darkness builds. When I am asked what is happening astrologically, I say, “Everything. All the time.” And it’s true. This is happening in your lives as well, the unfolding and releasing, invoking and establishing. There is a constant pulsing of life flowing, waxing and waning, expanding and contracting. The Great Creatrix blinking us into into being, disappearing us, and bringing us back again. Birth, death, rebirth. We have an intimate understanding of this experience living life as householders on a path, navigating the exquisite and terrifying, holding the midline of our soul's wisdom and of our true spiritual practice(s).

Many are going through big changes at this time, some unexpected, and the enormity of the destabilization and confusion can be overwhelming. This is a time of immense amplification and acceleration. Some of you may feel like you’ve been startled by sudden change, your shell cracked open, your paradigm shifting. Remember to hold the midline and trust, even in the uncontrollable changes that seem to be devouring you. The creative potency of the Universe is reorganizing you and your life. This can feel uncomfortable, even unbearable, but there are ways to become more skilled at allowing every circumstance of life to take us into the molten radiance of our hearts. This is spiritual practice, not in theory but applied in real life. It takes time and in the midst of it it isn’t pretty, it doesn’t feel good, and sometimes there is nothing to do but let the feelings and energies wash over you as though standing under a powerful waterfall.

FEEL EVERYTHING.

Try to stay rooted, in your belly and bones, with your heart open in radical vulnerability if you can, and hold on. Love yourself fiercely and allow your compassion to turn inward as a new practice. Make art with your tears and frustrations, dig your fingers and toes into the black earth to ground, and remember that you belong. Light a fire in your heart. More will unfold- there’s more to the story. On this Solstice, make a date with the Sun, bask in the warmth and relish the sunshine. The fullness of the light breaks into the beginning of the dark in its ancient way. At sunset say goodbye to the Sun disappearing into the sea, to be reborn in the sky on Winter Solstice.

Late in the evening, light a candle and renew your commitments and offer your blessings. Bow to the golden radiance that burns brightly inside your own shining heart.

U r a n u s I n g r e s s

There are several astrological events unfolding this week that demand attention - several planets are shifting. And the significance of what’s happening in the cosmos is entwined with what’s occurring in the collective, in the world, and I find it to be so weighty with importance that I cannot sort and implement my thoughts into words to type to elaborate on these matters… I can only do what each of us can do, which is to do what we can. So forgive my absence of late and be patient with these brief posts, and celebrate the silent (r)evolution that is ongoing in each of us as we navigate the beauty, pain, and absurdity of life.

On Tuesday we have our annual Taurus new moon in the early morning and hours later we have radical Uranus leaving Aries to enter fixed sign Taurus, which is understood to be (potentially) the most significant cosmic event of the year. The ruling planet of Aquarius, Uranus is the renegade, revolutionizer, and rable rouser of the heavens, the planet of originality and change. Uranus shifts every seven or eight years and in 2011 moved from Pisces to Aries to stay, creating a new era of life. There are undoubtedly major life lessons, battle scars, unexpected or unpredictable circumstances that define these past seven years for each of us, and there are corresponding events in the world. Now Uranus is moving into Venus-ruled Taurus for this next new era which will bring its own challenges and gifts.

Late on Tuesday, Mars leaves Capricorn and enter Aquarius (9:55pm CA time) and makes an exact square to Uranus (Wednesday 12:04am CA time). Volatility and pushing the limits could cause clashes, disruptions, and conflict that feel righteous or liberating to those involved.

On Friday Mercury trines retrograde Saturn in Capricorn, which could bring focus and attention to mental work. Venus moves into water sign Cancer on Saturday morning, and a few hours later forms a sextile with very busy Uranus in Taurus, which could manifest for us as having a new idea about a relationship or finances. Also, Mars forms a sextile with Chiron in Aries late Saturday evening and on Sunday Venus squares Chiron. The Mars/Venus quincunx (150º apart) could bring our attention to concealed pain or old wounds related to either the feminine or the masculine, and opportunities for healing and acceptance. Finally, Taurus season ends as the Sun enters air sign Gemini on Sunday evening (7:15pm CA time), bringing a new perspective and fresh energy.

Back to Uranus. The ingress of the eccentric and unusual planet has caused and will continue to cause a stir. The volcanic eruptions in Hawaii, in the realm of Goddess Pele, can be seen as an earthly expression of the electric planet leaving fiery Aries. There are too many examples to list of the manifestations of these planetary movements reflected in world events. Uranus will bring revelations to a new realm, the land of Taurus, which is Venusian in feel, dealing with love and beauty, art and elegance, finances and material possessions. Taurus is purposeful and persevering, sensible and sensitive. This next Uranus cycle will bring opportunities for explorations of and unexpected changes in what beauty means, what worth is, what we value, and so much more. Alternative currency and redefining beauty will be two possible areas of investigation and revelation. Sentimentality and sensitivity will be qualities brought out of hiding from when Uranus was in Pisces, underground during the Aries reign. There will be much to savor and digest in the next seven years. Let’s toast to having some hauntingly ecstatic experiences. Cheers.
